CALL FOR POSTERS

Bionano Symposium 2024 will include a virtual poster session, offering the opportunity to present the latest scientific data to a global audience. Poster presenters will have the chance to discuss results with interested colleagues through email or live chat on the virtual platform.

POSTER CONTENT

Posters must highlight your work using Bionano solutions, including optical genome mapping, VIA software, and Ionic sample preparation. Topics must align to one of the daily Symposium themes:

  • Day 1: New Standards in Hematological Malignancies
  • Day 2: New Frontiers in Oncology 
  • Day 3: Advances in Constitutional Applications 
  • Day 4: OGM in Cell and Gene Therapy 

Only abstracts related to clinical and translational research will be accepted. Any submitted poster that does not meet the guidelines will not be considered for evaluation.

Posters should be submitted as a PDF file. Presentations should incorporate illustrative materials such as tables, graphs, photographs, and large-print text. This content is not peer-reviewed. Submission is free.

The deadline for electronic submission of all posters was Thursday, January 18th, 2024, at 11:59 PM PT. 

Poster Guidelines

  • Final posters should be submitted as a PDF
  • Standard size is 48 x 36, both landscape and portrait can be accommodated.
  • The max poster file size is 6MB.
  • Presentations should incorporate illustrative materials such as tables, graphs, photographs, and large-print text

POSTER COMPETITION

Submit a poster and you’ll automatically be considered for the poster competition! Daily finalists – one from each theme, honorable mentions, and a Grand Prize winner will be selected by an expert panel based on originality, innovation, impact, and organization.

  • The Grand Prize winner will receive registration and travel support to a scientific conference of their choice (valued at $3,000 USD)
  • Daily finalists will receive their choice of a Remarkable tablet (valued at $500) or a $500 gift card from a selection of retailers.

All prize recipients must meet the eligibility requirements as set forth by their institution, state, or national regulations. Each poster submitted will be automatically considered for the competition unless the authors opt-out.
